Chelsea sign Alexandre Pato ahead of MK Dons clash
Brazilian attacker Alexandre Pato has signed for Premier League champions Chelsea, but the forward won’t make his debut in the FA Cup clash at MK Dons.
The 26-year-old former AC Milan striker has joined the Blues from Corinthians on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Speaking to the London club’s official website, Pato said, ‘I am so happy to sign for Chelsea. It is a dream for me. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know my new team-mates and cannot wait to play.
‘I thank Chelsea for their support and hope I can repay this faith to the club and its fans.’
And now interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has moved to make the forward his first signing, but needs to rebuild his fitness before he can feature for the Blues ruling him out of Sunday’s clash at stadiummk.
