MK Dons goalkeeper Charlie Burns has extended his loan at non-league side Hayes & Yeading United until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old stopper moved to the Maidenhead-based club at the beginning of January and has made three appearances so far.

And now a renewed agreement between the two teams will see Burns remain at York Road until the end of the 2015/16 season.

He could make his fourth appearance for the Vanarama National League South side at Weston-super-Mare later this evening.

The Berkshire club are currently lingering just two points above the relegation places having conceded 43 time so far this campaign, so they will be hoping Burns can help to stop the leaks at the back and help them survive.

He has made just one outing for parent club MK Dons in his career when he came on as a 34th minute substitute for the injured David Martin in a 3-1 defeat at home to Leyton Orient in 2014.
