Lionel Messi and the rest of the Barcelona squad have flown into London Luton airport ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Arsenal tomorrow night.

The 28-year-old superstar, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in football history, was joined by former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez and Brazilian whiz Neymar.

After landing in Luton the Spanish giants will now travel down to London as they prepare to go head-to-head with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side for a place in the Champions League quarter finals.

The Gunners are one of three Premier League sides – along with Chelsea and Manchester City – to remain in Europe’s elite competition after Manchester United were eliminated to the Europa League after failing to make it through the group stage in December.
