A Milton Keynes resident is set to appear on ‘Take Me Out’ this weekend.

It will be the second week running that a Milton Keynes resident has appeared on the show, this being the last episode of the series.

This week, Jon Twilley, 24, from Great Holm, tries his luck with the 30 available girls on the show as well as the ITV1 programme’s well-known presenter Paddy McGuinness.

For those unfamiliar with the show, one man at a time flies down the ‘love lift’ before trying to impress the 30 available girls via a pre-recorded video tape and a skill of their choice if they wish.

If they don’t like what they see, they turn their lights off, however if they do, their lights remain on.

The lucky man then chooses his date before the pair are whisked off to the Isle of Fernando’s for their weekend away in the sun.

The avid MK Dons fan is excited about his big TV date on Saturday night.

He said: “I was excited but now I’m just nervous, it’s such a strange feeling.

“I’m having a bit of a do with my friends and family, that way I can see all their reactions!

“The show was filmed a few months ago so I’ve had to keep it quiet for a while, it’s been really hard to, I haven’t been very good at it!”

You can find out if Mr Twilley get himself a date on ‘Take Me Out’ on ITV1 at 8.30pm this coming Saturday.
