MK Dons confirm US goalkeeper Cody Cropper to leave club
MK Dons have confirmed that American goalkeeper Cody Cropper will not be retained by the club.
Cropper’s deal was a one year contract that had the option of an extra year extension, but the Dons have opted to let him depart stadium:mk when his contract expires in June after just a single season playing for the club.
The keeper made 12 appearances for MK Dons, including nine in the Championship, after arriving on a free transfer from Premier League side Southampton. But he was only able to keep one clean sheet, which came as a substitute against Hull City after David Martin suffered an injury.
Cropper himself suffered a shoulder injury during the Dons’ 4-1 defeat by Brentford, and missed the final two games of the season.
