BHS administrators expected to confirm all stores to close by August 20th
The administrators of troubled retail giant BHS are expected to announce all stores will close by August 20th.
Sky News are reporting that Duff and Phelps will announce the final closure date on Monday (25/07). So far, 50 stores, including the branch in the MK1 Shopping Park, have already received set closure dates. Closing down sales are taking place at all outlets.
BHS fell into administration in April. Its demise comes less than a year after being sold by Arcadia Group business magnate Sir Phillip Green, who had owned the company since 2005.
Reports have suggested Green’s knighthood is under review. A report by MP’s both into his management of BHS and his sale of the company to Dominic Chappell is expected on Monday.
