E-fit released of suspect after 78 year old in Milton Keynes assaulted
Police have released an E-fit image of a possible suspect after a 78-year-old man was assaulted in Milton Keynes.
The incident happened at around 5.40pm on Thursday 21 July. At the time of the incident, the victim was walking in the underpass beneath the H6 Childs Way between Teardrop Lakes and Loughton, in the direction of the train station. Without warning, a passing man suddenly punched him in the chest, causing bruising and swelling.
The victim attended hospital for his sustained injuries, but has since been discharged.
Investigating officer PC Edmund Blackburn said: “This was a totally unprovoked attack in which an elderly man was targeted.
“I would urge anyone who thinks they may recognise the offender from the E-fit, or who witnessed anything in the area of the underpass at the time of the incident, to contact me on 101 giving reference number 43160200885.”
