MK athlete and Olympic medalist Greg Rutherford confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing
Milton Keynes-based athlete and Olympic medal winner Greg Rutherford will take part in the BBC reality show Strictly Come Dancing.
Rutherford’s inclusion in the show was confirmed by the show’s Twitter account earlier today. (22/08)

The 29-year-old is one of 16 celebrities who will take part in the long-running series. He is also one of 2 members of Britain’s Olympic team to take part, alongside gymnast Claudia Frangapane.
Rutherford’s confirmation comes just over a week after winning bronze in the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, adding to the gold medal he won in London four years ago, and his World, European and Commonwealth Games gold medals. He has also previously featured on various celebrity editions of TV shows, such as The Great Sport Relief Bake Off, and The Cube.
