Police appeal for witnesses after assault outside Luton Town Hall
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside Luton Town Hall.
The man required hospital treatment after the offence, which happened around 4:20pm on Saturday August 20th.
The victim was walking towards the train station, when we was knocked to the floor and assaulted by a group of five men.
PC Kirsty Forth confirmed the victim was unable to identify or describe his attackers. She also reinforced Bedfordshire Police’s appeal for the public’s assistance.
She said, “The victim needed hospital treatment following the assault, but unfortunately isn’t able to identify or describe the offenders, which is why we really need the public’s help. This was a nasty attack that took place on a busy road near the High Street in broad daylight, so if you were in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or saw five men leaving the area quickly, please come forward.”
