A cast including movie icon Shirley Anne Field and Coronation Street’s Andrew Lancel will perform in ‘A Judgement in Stone’ when it comes to Milton Keynes Theatre next month.

The adaptation of Ruth Rendell’s 1977 novel will also star actor and singer Mark Wynter in addition to Blue’s Antony Costa and actress Deborah Grant. Ben Neaton, Rosie Thomson, Jennifer Sims and Joshua Price will also appear.

In the play, Eunice struggles to fit in. When she joins a wealthy family as their housekeeper the very reason for her awkwardness, long hidden and deeply buried, leads inexorably to a terrible tale of murder in cold blood – on Valentine’s Day.

Ruth Rendell’s brilliant plot unravels a lifetime of deceit, despair and cover-ups which, when revealed, brings a shocking revelation almost as grizzly as murder itself.

A Judgment in Stone comes to Milton Keynes Theatre from Monday the 24th to Saturday the 29th of July- more information on tickets is available at http://www.atgtickets.com/shows/a-judgement-in-stone/milton-keynes-theatre/ and via MK Theatre’s Box Office at 0844 871 7652.*
