MK Dons youngster Kabongo Tshimanga will leave the League One club when his current contract expires at the end of the month.

The 21-year-old forward was highly thought of during his time in the Dons academy after netting 50 times for the U18s in the 2014/15 season.

But in 13 appearances for the first team he netted just once – an equaliser against Reading in last season’s EFL Cup tie at the Madjeski Stadium.

During his time at the Dons, Tshimanga had loan spells at Aldershot, Chelmsford, Corby, Nuneaton and Yeovil.

Meanwhile, the Dons have confirmed Callum Brittain, Conor Furlong, Oran Jackson, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Ben Tilney have all had extensions in their contracts triggered extending their stay until June 2018.

And Giorgio Rasulo has also been offered the chance to sign a new contract with the club, but has yet to decide his future.

Earlier today Rotherham United confirmed the signing of midfielder Darren Potter who is leaving stadiummk after six years when his contract expires on June 30.
