Charlton Athletic have not given up hope of signing MK Dons midfielder Ben Reeves who is out of contract at the end of June, according to reports.

The 25-year-old has been offered a new deal by the Dons although boss Robbie Neilson admitted the player had plenty of offers from other clubs.

And the Addicks are one of those – with ex-Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson now at The Valley he is hoping to reunite with Reeves who he bought to stadiummk from Southampton in 2013.

London News Online claims a move to London could still be possible for Reeves, but he is currently on holiday at the moment meaning his future will remain up in the air for a while longer.

Reeves has made over 100 appearances for the Dons, which would have been more had it not been for persistent injuries, and he has racked up 32 goals.

He netted 10 times in 42 appearances last season, with one of those coming in a 3-1 win over Robinson’s Charlton shortly after his appointment.
