Northampton Town give a debut to new signing Matt Ingram among their changes for their game against Doncaster in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first game as manager.

The deadline day signing from QPR is among the alterations from Justin Edinburgh’s last game, which came in the Checkatrade Trophy match against Cambridge.

The others bought into the team are Aaron Pierre, Matt Crooks and George Smith. Making way are Luke Coddington, Leon Barnett, Billy Waters and Daniel Powell.

The match is Hasselbaink’s first since his appointment as manager of the League One side. The Cobblers enter the meeting with League One newboys Doncaster still looking for their first win of the League One season.

Northampton’s last meetings with Doncaster came in the 2007/08 season. The Cobblers beat Rovers 2-0 at home, before losing the reverse fixture in South Yorkshire by the same score.
