Luton Town drew 0-0 with Morecambe at the Globe Arena, which continues their recent unbeaten run but sees their three game winning run ended.

The game saw Luton have plenty of the ball and chances, but very few on target in Lancashire.

The visitor’s best opportunities saw Barry Roche block Harry Cornick’s rasping early strike, and Brad Potts have a drive repelled by the home goalkeeper. A late shot from Glen Rea also came close but not close enough.

Morecambe displayed attacking intent of their own, with Adam Campbell denied by Marek Stech with a firm strike, and Callum Lang missing the target late on.

While the Hatters were frustrated in their attempts to prolong their winning streak, the visitors did extend their unbeaten run to four games. They sit 5th in the table after 10 matches.

Nathan Jones’ side face a run of games against their fellow positive early starters, as they face Newport on Saturday before also facing consecutive League Two games against Accrington, Stevenage and Exeter.
