In support of a vibrant community and providing adults with learning difficulties a meaningful working life, Camphill Milton Keynes Communities Ltd will host their Winter Craft & Food Fayre on Saturday 11th November.
Alongside their very own artisan baked goods, preserves, honey and vinegars, traditional textiles from the Weavery and a selection of unique arts & crafts, they will be joined by a further 30 local crafters, makers & artisans.
The event will be at the Chrysalis Theatre in the Camphill MK Communities near Willen Park from 10am, and entrance is free.
There will also be original photography, creative bakes, soaps, locally roasted coffee, curry pastes, chutneys, and jewellery along with local art demos by MKSA, Christmas gifts and home and fashion accessories and creative gifts made in-house within the Camphill workshops.
CMKC CEO Tim Davies said, “Camphill communities have proud roots in creativity, art, craft and drama and our interest in creating community is in our name.
“Our biannual Craft Fairs are a great opportunity to share our work, build relationships with fellow crafters from the local area and show off the creative skills of our residents and staff.”
Refreshments will include freshly baked pizza and beverages and a raffle will take place at the end of the day to raise funds for the community.
So if you’re looking for a special, locally made gifts and produce and want to meet local makers, crafters, artists and artisans, why not pop in and see what the vibrant community has to offer.
The free indoor event is open to everyone as is family friendly.
