Luton Town will travel to face National League side Gateshead in their Second Round tie in the FA Cup.

The Hatters were drawn away in the North East as part of televised Second Round draw earlier today (06/11). The tie is Luton’s reward after they beat League One side Portsmouth at Kenilworth Road in the First Round tie on Saturday.

Gateshead currently sit in 18th position in the 5th tier, and recently reached the Third Round of the FA Cup in 2014-15 before being knocked out by Premier League side West Bromwich Albion. They booked their place in Round Two with a 2-0 home win over National League South outfit Chelmsford City, having previously beaten Buxton away from home in a qualifying round.

The match will take place on the weekend of December 1st-4th, which will be between the Hatters’ League Two matches against Crewe Alexandra on November 25th and Notts County on December 9th.
