Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery which occurred in Bletchley earlier this week, which saw the victim hit on his head.

The appeal relates to an incident that took place at about 11pm in Buckingham Road on Thursday (30/11).

The victim was a 65-year-old man, who was walking when he was approached from behind by two offenders and hit over the head, causing him to fall.

The offenders then demanded his property and searched him, before stealing his wallet and mobile phone.

The victim sustained a black eye, as well as cuts to his face and a head injury. He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

Investigating officer DC Susan Russell said, “This incident resulted in a man requiring hospital treatment and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward.
