MK Dons to host Coventry City in FA Cup 4th Round
MK Dons will play League Two side Coventry City in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.
The Dons’ reward for beating Championship side QPR in their 3rd Round tie will see the League Two Sky Blues make the trip to stadium:mk for the 4th Round tie. The draw is the Dons’ second home draw in the competition, with the side previously drawing Maidstone at home in the Second Round.
Coventry currently sit in the play-offs in League Two, and booked their place in Round Four courtesy of one of the Third Round’s big upsets, as they beat Premier League side Stoke City 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena. They had beaten non-league sides Maidenhead United and Boreham Wood in their first two ties.
The two sides played each other in League One last season, with the Dons winning both matches by a single goal margin.
The tie will be played on the weekend of January 26-29. The Dons’ home League One match against Rotherham United that had been due to be played on the same weekend is to be played at a later date.
