MK Dons’ away match at Bradford City yesterday (10/03) did not take place after a waterlogged pitch lead to its postponement.

The call to postpone the game was made less than two hours before kick-off at Valley Parade. Heavy snow in the week followed by further rainfall in Yorkshire meant that despite attempts from groundstaff and volunteers to rectify the situation, the referee ruled the pitch unplayable.

In comparison to last week, where MK Dons’ game was one of the only League One games to beat the weather, this match was the only League One game to be postponed.

In other results, the other sides in the bottom 7 all picked up points. Bury and Oldham played out a 2-2 draw at Gigg Lane, while Northampton and Fleetwood picked up draws, and AFC Wimbledon beat Oxford.

MK Dons have confirmed tickets for this initial fixture will be valid for a rescheduled date, while anyone wishing to claim a refund for the match can do so from the official MK Dons box office. A re-arranged date will be announced in due course.
