MK Dons have been linked with moves for Halifax Town striker Lee Gregory and Accrington Stanley defender Tom Aldred as Karl Robinson looks to shape his squad for next season.
Gregory, 25, has long been of interest to Robinson and the Daily Mail now claims he has made an offer for the non-league goalscorer.
He has scored 29 goals in 35 league starts for Halifax this season and almost moved to Crawley Town on deadline day of the January transfer window.
While Aldred, 23, was voted Accrington’s Player of the Year and Sky Sports believes that the Dons are amongst a number of clubs to be interested in the centre back.
He has made 59 league appearances for the League Two side since his move in January 2013 and has featured at youth level for Scotland.
CitiBlog understands the Dons were also interested in signing newly promoted Luton Town’s Andre Gray, but were priced out of a move when the Hatters quoted them more than £300,000.
The articles also suggest Manchester City are considering a move for the player, and it is understood Manchester United, Newcastle, and Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and chief scout Dave Fallows have watched the talented youngster.
However, CitiBlog has heard Rodgers’ side will not win the race to sign Alli, although it is likely the player will leave the club this summer with a deal already in the pipeline for a substantial seven figure fee which could double with add-ons.
