Elves everywhere, reindeer roaming, bopping baubles, festive fairies and the big man himself, Santa…this can only mean one thing – Christmas has arrived at Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands!

On Saturday 14 November, a merry snow-covered parade arrived at Frosts with Santa and his elves being the stars of the show. Hundreds of little visitors lined the way as Santa rolled up in his sleigh, ready to settle into his grotto at Frosts, where he will be in the run-up to Christmas.

Santa’s arrival marks the beginning of the most magical time of year, and for many families across Milton Keynes, a visit to Frosts at Woburn Sands marks the beginning of the festive season. Frosts is famous for its award-winning grotto, its real ice rink, a huge variety of festive foods and decorations galore.

After the parade, Santa spent the afternoon seeing little ones in his magical grotto as they told him how good they’ve been this year. The ever-popular, sell-out family experience lasts just over 45 minutes and is the ultimate way to visit Santa in his festive wonderland. The adventure starts with a festive sing-song with his excitable elves who love nothing more than getting children into the Christmas spirit! Then it’s on to the next room to make some reindeer food ready to leave out on Christmas Eve for Rudolf and the gang. The enchanted journey finishes in Santa’s living room with a story read by the big man himself.

The grotto runs until Wednesday 23 December – and some days are already sold out so customers are advised to hurry! Tickets cost £9.99 per child and £4.49 per adult, photos cost £5.99.

Frosts’ real ice skating rink is back from Saturday 28 November, and will be in place until Sunday 3 January. Surrounded by Christmas lights, the ice rink has a magical feel that will get the whole family into the festive spirit. Make a day of it and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate and a snack at the ice rink café. Tickets cost £8.99 per adult and £7.99 per child, or £14.99 for one adult and one toddler under four.

There are special skating evenings lined up from Monday 30 November until Thursday 17 December, ask in centre for details and to book. The Disco on Ice takes place on Friday 18 December; the ever-popular Festive Family Fun Night is on Sunday 20 December; and then there is the New Year’s Day skate, the perfect way to start the New Year.
