League Two side Luton Town have been linked with a move for Eastleigh defender Joe Partington, along with Doncaster Rovers.

HITC Sport claims the 26-year-old is out-of-contract in the summer so the non-league side may be willing to do a deal in the January transfer window.

The National League club have offered Partington a new deal, but the chance to play in the Football League may be too tempting for the full-back.

Luton and Doncaster are not the only teams said to be interested in him though, with the Scottish Premiership’s Partick Thistle another name potentially considering a move.

The report claims Hatters boss Nathan Jones could have scouts at Eastleigh’s game against Forest Green Rovers as he looks to firm up his interest.

Partington had made 59 appearances for Bournemouth before it was decided he wasn’t good enough for their squad following promotion to the Premier League so he joined the Spitfires in 2015.
