Defender Jordan Spence has finally found himself a new club more than eight months after being released by MK Dons by signing for Championship side Ipswich Town.
Former Dons boss Karl Robinson took the decision to let Spence leave stadiummk on May 12 last year after George Baldock established himself as first-choice right back.
The 26-year-old, who can play in the centre of defence or the right, spent time training at clubs including Rotherham United and Birmingham City but remained without a club.
Now, eight months and four days after his Dons departure The Tractor Boys have confirmed Spence has moved to Portman Road on a deal until the end of the season.
He made 111 appearances during his time in Milton Keynes, which was initially a loan spell from Premier League side West Ham United before signing permanently.
Spence was part of the history making side, led by Robinson, which won promotion to the Championship for the first time in the club’s history.
And after experiencing relegation with the Dons last season, he will be hoping to make more of an impact with mid-table Ipswich, managed by Mick McCarthy.
