MK Dons have been handed a trip to newly promoted League Two side Forest Green Rovers in the first round of the League Cup.

The trophy is now known by its sponsored name the Carabao Cup and following the draw in Thailand all ties will take place in the week commencing Monday 7th August.

Rovers became widely known for becoming the first football club in England to be totally vegan – this includes the players’ diet and food sold to fans on match days.

The tie between Robbie Neilson’s and Mark Cooper’s men is being hosted at The New Lawn which can host 5,141 people.
