MK Dons get QPR away FA Cup Third Round draw
MK Dons will play Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers away from home in the FA Cup Third Round.
The Dons have been drawn to face the West Londoners away in their tie in the tournament’s Third Round, as their reward for knocking out Hyde United and Maidstone United in their previous two ties.
MK Dons and QPR have previously faced one in another in the FA Cup. QPR won in a replay at Loftus Road in the Third Round in 2012, while the Dons were 4-2 winners in West London in the Fourth Round the following season.
The two sides last met in the Championship in the 2015-16 season, with both sides winning the respective home matches. QPR were 3-0 winners at home, while MK Dons picked up a 2-0 win in the return contest at stadium:mk.
The match will take place on the weekend of January 5th-8th. Because of the Dons’ progression to this stage of the competition, the League One match against Rochdale that had been scheduled for the same weekend has been postponed.
