The Wombats announce Craufurd Arms show in MK
Indie rock band The Wombats have announced they will be performing a concert in Milton Keynes at the Craufurd Arms.
The band announced the show after hosting a poll of venues to play as part of a promotion by the Music Venue Trust to support independent venues. The band will also be playing small venues in Bradford, Stoke-on-Trent and Blackpool.
The Craufurd show will take place on February 9th. A pre-sale is to be held through fan-to-artist platform Open Stage, and tickets are available here: https://www.openstageit.com/place-magnet/22020?location=721&radius=10&searched-string=Milton+Keynes+UK#Milton_Keynes_UK
The Liverpool-based band released their debut album A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation in 2007, which spurned four top 40 singles, including Moving to New York, Kill the Director and Let’s Dance to Joy Division. Both follow up albums have charted in the UK top 5, with their 4th studio album Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life due to be released on February 9th – the same day as the Craufurd concert.
The band are also due to play a 15 date UK and Ireland tour in March 2018 in support of the new album, including a show at Alexandra Palace in London.
