Goldsmithy in MK offer chance to create Royal-inspired rings
The Goldsmithy in MK has offered the chance for couples to design their own engagement rings.
The offer comes at the same time of both Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie’s recent engagement celebrations have been the two engagement rings, both created with family in mind.
Local goldsmiths and watchmakers The Goldsmithy specialise in unique, custom-made jewellery. To celebrate the recent ceremonies, they have designed and created a ring inspired by Princess Diana’s engagement ring.
Prince Harry designed Meghan Markle’s ring himself, using diamonds from Princess Diana’s jewellery collection, while Princess Eugenie’s ring has a striking resemblance to her mother’s, fashioned with a padparadscha sapphire. Father and son owners of The Goldsmithy create one of a kind engagement rings using family heirlooms, so you can incorporate a piece of heritage into a bespoke piece of jewellery and retain the sentiment – a ring fit for a princess, and your budget.
Glenn Chapman, Goldsmith and Owner of The Goldsmithy Ltd comments, “The royals have set the trend for designing your own engagement and this is the heart of what we do here at The Goldsmithy. Working together with a customer to create a bespoke engagement ring gives them the freedom to work to their set budget and create a ring completely unique. After all, you don’t want to spend all that money to have the same ring as someone else.
“We make the whole process even more special by inviting you down to the workshop to have a go at the different stages of the craftsmanship, and make your mark on your partners ring!”
