Police appeal after racially aggravated grave damage in MK
Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses following an incident of racially aggravated criminal damage to graves in the Broughton area.
The appeal relates to an incident that happened in St Lawrence’s Church between 12pm Sunday (25/2) and 12pm on Monday (26/2). During the incident, a black permanent marker was used to write offensive language on two graves at the church. A medal from a recent sports event has also been taken from one of the graves.
Investigating officer PC Liam Farrow said, “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following this upsetting incident of racially aggravated criminal damage to these two graves.
“I urge anyone who witnessed this incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area during these times to get in touch.
