A 41-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for burglary offences that took place in Milton Keynes.
Jason Cox, of no fixed abode, was convicted and sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday last week (01/03) after pleading guilty to three counts of burglary and one count of attempted theft from a motor car. He was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.
Cox was charged with the offences on January 20th in connection with offences that took place between September 2017 and January 2018.
From two residential addresses in Milton Keynes cash, jewellery and passports were stolen. From a third business premise alcohol was taken.
Investigating officer PC Kelly White thanked the victims and witnesses for their assistance in helping to convict the offender.
She said, “Burglary and theft cause great distress for victims and Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing offenders to justice.
“I would like to thank the victims and witnesses for engaging with the police and supporting us with our investigations into the crimes that Cox has committed.”
