Midfielder Jordan Houghton has signed for MK Dons on a two year contract after leaving Premier League giants Chelsea on Sunday.

The 22-year-old’s contract at the Blues expired at the end of June and he has swiftly secured his future by making the move to Milton Keynes.

Houghton, an ex-England U20 international, is the fifth new face brought in by manager Paul Tisdale so far this summer.

The manager told the official Dons website: “Jordan is a young and talented player and he has had a good experience already.

“We hope that he will join us and be a part of the Club’s development and progress over the next two or three years. He’s certainly got the potential to go with us on our journey.”
