MK Dons confirm Aidan Nesbitt departure
MK Dons have confirmed that Scottish attacker Aidan Nesbitt has left the club by mutual consent.
The winger’s departure from Milton Keynes ends a stay that began after he joined the club from Celtic late in the summer 2017 transfer window. But the player leaves after failing to make regular appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.
In a statement, MK Dons said, “The Club would like to thank Aidan for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.”
Nesbitt, 21, joined from SPL giants Celtic in August 2017, and scored on his full debut for the club away at Plymouth Argyle in a League One fixture the following month.
In total, Nesbitt made 27 appearances for MK Dons, but made the majority of them before Robbie Neilson’s departure and struggled for game time after Neilson was dismissed.
This season, Nesbitt was limited to making 2 appearances, which came in the Checkatrade Trophy meetings with Peterborough United and Luton Town.
