Harmony Skin and Beauty Therapy will open its doors to the public on Saturday 18th May for a special event to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
Based in The White House on Buckingham’s Market Hill, the salon which specialises in advanced skincare technology and non-medical aesthetic treatments will host the event from 11am – 4pm.
Guests can receive free express treatments and a complimentary Dermalogica® face mapping – a skin analysis technique that allows specialists to prescribe a targeted skincare regime for an individual’s unique needs. Plus, anyone attending will be able to take part in competitions to win products or treatments and sip on some tasty bubbles.
“We are over the moon to be celebrating our 15th anniversary,” said Owner and Skin Specialist Shweta Kapur. “We always to do our very best, and have done since day one, offering our clients the most advanced non-surgical skin treatments to rejuvenate the face and redefine the body. We want to help them feel confident and happy in their skin every day.”
After a long-standing client sadly passed away in March, after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, Shweta and her team will be raising money for the Brain Tumour Research charity based in Milton Keynes on the day. Less than 20% of brain tumour patients survive beyond five years compared with an average of 50% across all cancers.
Shweta said: “Our clients mean everything to us. We are pleased to be able to combine our birthday event with fundraising for such a deserving cause, in memory of our lovely client who we miss very much.”
Harmony Skin and Beauty Therapy has gained a reputation as one of the most progressive beauty salons in the Buckinghamshire county with a loyal client base who enjoy an extensive range of skin services including cellulite-busting endermologie, facial-toning CACI treatments, skin-tightening Lipofirm Plus and brightening peels. This is all alongside traditional beauty treatments including gel nails, hair removal, spray tanning and massage.
Shweta added: “Please pop along and support us on Saturday 18th May – we would love to see you there! You’ll be able to enjoy some mini treatments and you could even win a fab skincare prize too.”
Paula Rastrick, community fundraising manager for Brain Tumour Research in the Central Region, said: “We are very grateful that Harmony Skin and Beauty Therapy have chosen to fundraise for our charity as part of their 15th birthday celebrations. It is very sad that they have lost a client to this devastating disease. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this terrible disease.”
