MK Dons have confirmed the signing of striker Rhys Healey from Cardiff for an undisclosed fee.

The move is a return to Milton Keynes for Healey, who spent the first half of last season on loan with the side in League 2.

Healey spent the first part of last season on loan with the Dons, scoring 9 times in an initial spell with the club. The striker then returned to Cardiff, making 3 Premier League appearances in total.

He told iFollow MK Dons of his delight to make the full move. He said, “It was a no brainer for me. I really enjoyed my time here last season so as soon as this move come around, I was on to and desperate to get it done.

“I was keeping an eye on results every week – I was a secret fan! I was desperate for the guys to get promoted and I was really happy when we got over the line.

“I felt like I was playing some of my best football here last season so I’m ready to go again this season and kick on even more. Like last season, I want to work hard, score goals and help the team push up the league.”

Healey is the 7th signing ahead of the new season made by MK Dons.
