Luton Town have been given a home tie against Premier League outfit Leicester City in the Third Round of the Carabao Cup.
The Hatters will host the 2015-16 Premier League champions at Kenilworth Road in the week beginning September 23rd, as per the draw made on TV after the Lincoln v Everton tie. Full details are to be confirmed in due course.
Luton booked their place in Round 3 of the competition with a First Round success over Ipswich Town at Kenilworth Road, and a Second Round victory away at Cardiff City.
Leicester booked their place in the Third Round with a victory on penalties away at fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle, with the Foxes winning on penalties at St. James’ Park after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.
The Hatters last faced the Foxes in the 2006-07 season, when the two sides were both in the Championship, with the side picking up 4 points over the pair of meetings.
