MK Dons picked up three points by seeing off Blackpool in Lancashire.
Russell Martin, Jordan Houghton and David Kasumu struck the goals as Paul Tisdale’s side won away from home for the first time in League One this season.
The result moves the Dons up to 10th place after 7 games of their season, and level with Blackpool above.
Martin struck the Dons ahead in the opening stages, with the defender able to fire the ball home after the home side had not properly dealt with an early MK corner.
Blackpool had started the day with an unbeaten home record in the opening stages of the new season and pressed to try and equalise. Armand Gnanduillet headed wide at a home corner, while Joe Nuttall and Sulleay Kaikai both came close.
The home side had chances in the early stages of the second half, but failure to take them and a defensive mistake lead to further punishment.
Curtis Tilt received a pass inside his own half but dithered badly, and Houghton swept in to intercept. The midfielder was able to advance and then score, sending a low drive beyond Jak Alnwick.
Kasumu then made the result safe for MK Dons, with his first league goal for the club and second of the campaign. After a fine move involving Hiram Boateng and Conor McGrandles, Kasumu received George Williams’ pass and finished.
Sam Nombe would also hit the post late on but it was still three goals and three points on the road for Paul Tisdale’s side.
