The owners of Milton Keynes Theatre have announced the latest extension to the suspension of their show programme.

In a statement released on social media, Ambassador Theatre Group announced their UK theatres will now remain closed until August 2nd.

The news is the third extension to the suspension of theatre shows at Milton Keynes this year. The venue has been closed since mid-March, with a number of shows that had been rescheduled have been rescheduled for 2021 or cancelled altogether.

The statement released by ATG reads, “Due to COVID-19, we are sorry to confirm that all performances at Ambassador Theatre Group venues across the UK have been suspended until Sunday 2 August.

“If you have a booking that is affected by this suspension, you do not need to do anything. Over the coming weeks we will contact you directly and will be able to handle all your requests and enquiries.

“We have successfully rescheduled hundreds of wonderful shows all the way through to the end of 2021 and we thank everyone for their patience as we automatically move these customers into the new dates and contact them with all the details.

“For customers where shows have been postponed (i.e. they have not yet been rescheduled) we will issue a full credit voucher, including all fees, that is valid to use on future shows up to 31 December 2021. Full credit vouchers or refunds are available for all cancelled shows. For further details please go to www.ATGtickets.com/coronavirus-info

“As you can imagine, we have a large number of customers that we are assisting, so we ask that you please bear with us. With your ongoing support and commitment we believe we can come back faster and stronger than ever before.”
