Police are appealing for information and for help in tracing a victim after public order and sexual assault incidents outside Milton Keynes Central train station.
The appeals related to an incident that happened at a time between 11am and midday on Saturday (11/7).
Officers received a report that a woman was sitting on a bench near Marks & Spencer, outside Milton Keynes Railway Station, when an offender approached her and touched her inappropriately on her thigh.
The victim left the scene of the incident before police arrival, but officers would still appeal for her to come forward.
Prior to this incident, it was also reported that an offender had also used abusive language towards members of the public.
As part of their appeal, police have confirmed that they have made one arrest.
A 34-year-old man from Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female and a public order offence. He has been released on bail until 8 August.
Investigating officer PC Gemma Gibbs of Milton Keynes police station said, “I am appealing for the victim of this incident of sexual assault to come forward and speak to us.
“An arrest has been made in connection with this, however the victim of the sexual assault incident has not come forward. As such, we would like for her to come forward and speak to us about the incident, and we would also like to hear from any witnesses.
