MK Dons midfielder Conor McGrandles has left the club to join fellow League One side Lincoln City.

The Dons have confirmed that the 24-year-old Scottish midfielder and the club mutually agreed to end his contract early, paving the way for him to move to the Imps.

McGrandles joined MK Dons from Norwich in 2017, having previously impressed on loan with Falkirk, and he made 91 appearances in all competitions for the club.

He was a part of the squad that earned promotion to League One in 2018-19, despite a major facial injury suffered on the opening day limiting his game time in the first half of the season, and a regular part of the team in the truncated 2019-20 season.

Lincoln manager Michael Appleton voiced his delight at completing the signing of McGrandles, who is the club’s 4th new signing of the summer.

He told Lincoln City’s website, “Conor is a very talented attacking midfield player, who has a very good range of passing, especially in the final third. I’m very confident he will flourish in the environment we are going to create and I look forward to welcoming him into the squad.”
