Police is appealing for witnesses following a public order offence in Stony Stratford, which saw a person punched in the face several times.

As part of the appeal, police have confirmed one arrest was made. An 18-year-old man from Stony Stratford has been arrested in connection with this incident, and has been released under investigation.

The appeal follows an incident that happened at 5pm on Sunday 19 July.

Two males were involved in a physical altercation on Wolverton Road, near to Repton House, and one of them was punched several times to the face. The victim did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Laura White, based at Milton Keynes police station, said, “If you were in the area at the time of the incident and believe that you could help with my investigation, please get in touch.

“We have made an arrest in connection with the incident but I am still keen to hear from anyone who may have any further information.
