Northampton Town have confirmed the signings of Joe Nuttall and Ricky Korboa, making it 2 signings in 2 days for the League One new-boys.

23-year-old striker Nuttall has joined on a season long loan from Blackpool, while 23-year-old attacker Korboa joins for an undisclosed fee from non-league Carshalton Athletic after impressing on a trial at the Cobblers.

Nuttall began his career at Manchester City, and previously joined Blackpool from Blackburn at the start of the truncated 2019-20 season. He scored 4 times for the Seasiders in the season before it was cut short.

Meanwhile, Korboa, who can play either on the wing or up front, joins after impressing on a trial. He previously scored 31 goals in the last two seasons for Carshalton Athletic, who play in the Isthmian Premier Division.

The duo are the latest arrivals at Northampton Town in the window after winning promotion to League One via the play-offs.

They join previous arrivals Christopher Missilou, Jospeh Mills, Fraser Horsfall and Cian Bolger, along with loan arrivals Jonathan Mitchell and Luka Racic.
