The operators of the Milton Keynes Job Show have announced the postponement of their event to April 2021.

The event in the centre:mk shopping centre had been scheduled to take place on October 9th and 10th, but has instead been rearranged to April 16th and 17th 2021 following the recent escalation of the coronavirus pandemic.

Event Director Mike Bickerdike commented his disappointment, but acknowledged it wouldn’t be responsible to proceed as usual.

He said, “While we know this is disappointing, we hope you understand this is a necessary step to keep Milton Keynes safe. With the government restrictions on social gatherings to stop the spread of COVID-19, we feel it wouldn’t be responsible to host the MK Job Show at this time.”

In other developments, the MK Job Show has launched an online jobs board exclusively showcasing employment and training opportunities in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. This can be found at

Marketing Manager Deanne Stevens commented, “Sadly due to the pandemic, many people have found themselves in a position they never thought they would be in, which is why it is more important than ever for us to step up and help Milton Keynes get back to work. It is truly fantastic to see the number of candidates applying for vacancies and the new local opportunities businesses are posting every day.”
