Luton Town have confirmed the signing of defender Gabriel Osho, who arrives after leaving Reading in the summer.

The 22-year-old defender, who can play as a centre back or at right back, has moved on a free transfer and has signed a contract of undisclosed length at Kenilworth Road.

Osho began his career as a junior in the Reading academy, and after loan spells within the National League, he made his first team debut in 2018 and would make 10 senior appearances for the Royals.

The player voiced his delight at confirming his move to Kenilworth Road. He said, “It’s taken a bit of time since I first heard it was a possibility of coming to Luton, but I’m buzzing to be here.

“I made a decision to leave Reading because I wanted an opportunity like this for the next part of my development, and I’m so pleased it’s been sorted and I’m now a Luton Town player.

“I’ve only got good experiences of Kenilworth Road from last season. I can’t wait to get started and get back out there in an orange shirt!”
