The Dons will make the trip to Lancashire to face the Clarets at Turf Moor on the weekend of January 8-10, with full details of match date and any broadcast to be confirmed in due course.

MK Dons booked their place in the Third Round on Sunday (30/11) with a 1-0 win over National League side Barnet in London, having beaten Eastleigh on penalties in the First Round. All 3 of MK Dons’ ties in the tournament thus far have all been away from home.

The two teams last faced each other in the Championship in the 2015-16 season, when a Clarets side that won promotion to the Premier League as division winners beat MK Dons home and away. The Clarets also beat the Dons when they faced one another in the FA Cup Third Round at stadium mk in 2010.
