Luton Town to travel to Chelsea in FA Cup 4th Round
Luton Town have been handed a tie against Premier League giants Chelsea in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.
The Hatters’ reward for seeing off fellow Championship side Reading in the Third Round over the weekend is a trip to Stamford Bridge to face the London side, who have previously won 8 FA Cup titles.
Chelsea currently sit 9th in the Premier League table, having finished 4th last season, and they booked their place in Round 4 by beating the League 2 side Morecambe at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (10/01).
The tie will take place on the weekend of January 23-24.
The Fourth Round draw also included a sequencing draw for the Fifth Round to aid with fixture planning during these uncertain times, which will take place in February.
The winners of the Chelsea v Luton tie will face an away match in Round 5 against the winners of the tie between Championship sides Barnsley and Norwich City.
That match will be in the midweek around Wednesday February 10th.
