MK Dons have confirmed that midfielder Andrew Surman has signed a contract extension.
Surman’s original contract at MK Dons had been due to expire at the end of this week after the 34-year-old signed an original short term contract with the club.
But MK Dons have now confirmed the midfielder’s contract has been extended to run until the end of the current season.
Surman has played 12 times for MK Dons since his arrival after being released by Bournemouth in the summer, making two assists.
The midfielder told iFollow MK Dons he was pleased to extend his commitments with the League One club.
He said, “I’ve really enjoyed my time with the Club so I’m pleased to commit until the end of the season.
“I hadn’t played too much football before coming here but I’ve slowly found my fitness and really enjoyed being a part of things here.
“I don’t think I could be at a better club, especially in League One, to play the way I want to play.
“We’ve had a good month or so in terms of results so things are certainly looking promising and it’s a good thing to be a part of.”
