Twine is MK Dons’ first new signing of the transfer window ahead of the 2021-22 season. During the 2020-21 campaign, the midfielder scored 14 goals in 49 games during the season just finished across games at Swindon and League Two side Newport County, who he played for on loan until January.
Speaking to iFollow MK Dons, Twine voiced his delight to get the move done. He also said direct talks with the club’s manager Russell Martin sold him on the idea of moving to Milton Keynes.
He said, “I’m over the moon. I’m an MK Dons player and I couldn’t be happier.
“There were a few clubs interested but after I spoke to the Gaffer, he sold it to me. From that day, I couldn’t wait to sign and get it sorted.
“I wanted to come here and play football the way we do, and I want to bring lots of goals and assists.”
