MK Dons’ tie in the First Round of the FA Cup will see them host League 2 outfit Stevenage.

The tie will be played on the weekend around Saturday November 6th, with specific information available in due course.

The side from Hertfordshire are managed by one-time MK Dons striker Alex Revell, and sit 20th in League Two after a 3-0 defeat by Oldham Athletic yesterday (16/10).

Stevenage are familiar opponents of late to the Dons, having faced one another in League 2 in the 2018-19 season and in the EFL Trophy in its various guises in the last two campaigns. The Dons were 3-2 winners at Stevenage in October 2020, though Stevenage took 4 points off the Dons when they were in League 2 together 3 seasons ago.

MK Dons reached the Third Round of the FA Cup last season, winning ties against Eastleigh and Barnet before losing to Premier League side Burnley in the Third Round after a penalty shoot-out at Turf Moor.

All 3 of MK Dons’ ties in last season’s competition came away from home, so this will be the Dons’ first FA Cup tie at home since a home defeat by Port Vale in November 2019.
