Luton Town attacker Dion Pereira has signed a loan deal with Bradford City for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old will join the League 2 side for the remainder of the current campaign.

This move will be Pereira’s second of the 2021/22 season, after he had spent one month earlier in the season on loan with Yeovil Town in the National League.

The attacker joined Luton in 2020 after a spell in the MLS with Atlanta United, though he has so far made just 2 appearances for the Luton first team.

Pereira told the official Bradford City website of his delight to make the move.

He said, “It is an amazing feeling to be here, and I just want to get the ball rolling and start playing.

“The gaffer has told me everything he wants from me and how I fit into the team. I like to bring creativity to games with assists, putting balls into the box and driving at defenders.

“As soon as I touch the pitch it is my opportunity to show the supporters what I can do and give everything for this club. I like pressure and am looking forward to getting going.”
