Milton Keynes Theatre is preparing to welcome Cinderella as its 2023 Christmas panto.
Comedian, TV and musical theatre star Brian Conley will star as Buttons in the panto, which will open on Saturday (09/12) and run until 14th January 2024.
Conley has previously appeared in award-winning West End musicals and television sitcoms, presented his own chat show, recorded five albums, appeared in Eastenders, completed numerous sell-out stand-up tours, appear a record eight times on The Royal Variety Performance and starred in over 35 pantomimes.
It will also be a return to the Milton Keynes pantomime for Conley, who was last in a Milton Keynes Theatre panto in 2017.
Brian said, “Panto is a truly magical experience every year, and I can’t wait to bring the magic of Cinderella to Milton Keynes audiences this Christmas. I loved being in panto in Milton Keynes in 2017 and can’t wait to be back on the stage again”.
Brian will be joined by a cast that includes comedy duo Neal Wright and Ben Stock, who will return alongside Brian as the Wicked Stepsisters Claudia and Tess. Others taking part include James Darch as Prince Charming, Sarah Vaughan returns as Cinderella, Owen Stringer as Dandini and Brian’s daughter, Lucy Conley will be joining her father as Fairy 312.
The cast are joined by a full ensemble comprising Stephen Alexander, Sian Brown, Lee Callaghan, Megan Elvidge, Nat Ingham, Hannah Morcos, Elysia Pemberton and Ollie Selwood.
Milton Keynes theatregoers shall be presented with a re-telling of the classic story this Christmas as Cinderella transforms from rags to riches, outwits her Wicked Stepsisters, makes her way to the ball and with the help of her hilarious friend and one very magical Fairy, meets her Prince Charming.
